The tennis courts and associated programs are maintained by Chapel Hill Parks and Rec. The process for major repairs and upgrades really starts with budgets and funding allocated by the town officials such as the mayor, council and town manager.
Parks Greenways and Recreation Commission is an advisory board of 9 members who provide recreation recommendations and proposals to town officials. The board meets regularly on the 3rd Tuesday of each month @ 7 pm. Citizens are allotted time at the beginning of most meetings to openly present viewpoints. The board coordinates decisions closely with the Parks and Rec department.
