Note:

Status listed above may not be updated since some items are waiting for the complete renovation. There are additional things that need improvement but could be delayed for the renovation (depending on how long we are talking about for the renovation).

Cedar Falls is schedule for total renovation from passed 2/3 bond money. However, due to inflation and other factors, the town is seeking additional funding before submitting work for bids. It is unclear when and where they will be able to acquire the additional funds needed.

Cedar Falls Long Term

Depending on the ability to acquire additional funding, proposed timeline is to go out for bids has been pushed back to later in 2023, with construction to start after.  Work is expected to take up to nine months and courts will be unavailable during this time. The current proposal includes bleachers for spectators. This will be great for spectators of tournaments, lessons, and school matches and make the court more enjoyable for players and events.

Renovation proposal includes six adult size courts (required for matches, practices, lessons, tournaments and community events) and include new backboard, benches and signage.
